Muhalabia

Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk

  • 200 ml cream

  • 3 tbps sugar

  • 40 g starch

  • 1 tsp cardamon

  • 1 tsp orangeblossom water

  • some almond shards

Directions

  • Combine milk, cream and simmer

  • let it boil while stirring adding a starch slurry

  • add orange or rosewater

  • let it cool

  • garnish with almond shards
